New Delhi June 25,2013: Expo Riva Schuh India, a platform that showcases footwear and leather accessories is back with its 3rd edition from 4th to 6th July at the Pragati Maidan Exhibition Centre of New Delhi. Expo Riva Schuh India is exclusively for finished products in different sectors, from footwear to leather accessories. It is the only fair in the World that is dedicated to finished products in footwear and leather accessories. The fair is organized by Riva del Garda Fierecongressi & Italian Exposition Pvt. Ltd (IEPL), in cooperation with Council of Leather Exports (CLE), ITPO and ICE – Italian Trade Commission, Trade Promotion Section of the Italian Embassy.

In the 3rd edition of ExpoRivaSchuh India, over 200 important Indian and International exhibitors will showcase their products. Some of the top fashion Brands like Baldinini, Loriblu, Maresca, Fabi, Giovanni Fabiani, Cerutti will also showcase their footwear, bags, gloves, belts and leather accessories. For the 1st time, there would be participation from the merchandise brands like Angry Birds, Superman, Tweety, Looney tunes etc.

 According to Mr. Giovanni Laezza, Managing Director of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, “Last year we got 3,795 international buyers and we are really pleased with the success of the Expo Riva Schuh in India. The Fair in 2012 achieved a growth rate of +16.2% over its 1st edition of July 2011. We will thrive on the success achieved, and will continue to work, for the third edition of Expo Riva Schuh India, towards reinforcing this partnership, which is fundamental to the success of the event. The collaboration with CLE has also been established for Expo Riva Schuh, contributing over the years towards making the Riva del Garda event the international showcase that it is today, from every point of view.”

The fair follows an innovative format that will showcase products by over 200 Indian and International exhibitors from Italy, Spain, Germany, France, UK, China, Thailand and other countries.

Italy will be represented by as many as 40 top brands like Giovanni Fabiani, Loriblu, Manas, Massimo Santini, Fabi and FratesiIMAC Group will also be present at the fair, focusing on technological development and innovative materials.

China will be at the fair with 40 companies from some of the leading Chinese production centers such as The Xiamen L&C International Exhibition, the Guangdong Economic Association and the Fujian Foreign Economic Service Trade, which are world leaders in the organisation of fairs and international exhibitions in the footwear sector.

The Thai Footwear Industry Association will also be represented by a significant number of exhibitors from Thailand, the expression of a production system which is acquiring a crucial role in the global panorama of the footwear industry.
