The Global R&D lab in India is ADAMA Group’s first outside its HQ in Israel and the new formulation lab is an addition to the growing ADAMA infrastructure in the country
HYDERABAD, INDIA, AUGUST 25, 2015: ADAMA India, the Indian subsidiary of ADAMA Agricultural Solutions, a world leader in crop-protection solutions, announced today the inauguration of its new formulation lab of global standards in India at the IKP Knowledge Park, Hyderabad. The formulation lab was inaugurated by the President & CEO of ADAMA India, Ilan Levanon. Also present on this occasion was Global Formulation Project Manager, Shaul Yehuda and the ADAMA India manageme nt team.

at delivering farmer centric crop protection solutions to the Indian farmer is further strengthened, as we would now be able to cater to local market needs quicker than before” Ilan Levanon President & CEO of ADAMA India, said.
ADAMA India’s current 10000 sq. ft. R&D facility in Hyderabad is spread across 2 blocks and has 3 wings – Synthetic labs, Analytical labs & Scale-up laboratory. The newly established formulation lab becomes the fourth lab in their R&D portfolio.
“This new lab would now complete the end-to-end Research and Development cycle in India and will support both global market needs we well as domestic needs. It will also accelerate the process time of formulation as well as introduction of newer crop protection solutions for farmers. With this, ADAMA India intends to develop performance optimized differentiated solutions for farmers, which are cost effective and environmentally safe to use.” Ilan Levanon added.
ADAMA India has acquired state-of-the-art equipment of the highest quality for this new lab, which will be further expanded in the next few years. The lab is equipped with the latest technological instruments which will support both liquid and solid formulations and will give the most accurate results. As in the previous labs, employee safety is of utmost importance and all the equipment purchased conforms to the highest safety standards for the user.

ADAMA India has strategic plans to launch several unique and novel products, tailor made for the Indian market as well as the global market during 2016-2020. The Indian formulation team is currently working closely with the global formulation team, field trial, registration and quality control teams to develop and introduce new products to the market at the earliest.
