Carrera Heuer-01 Full Black Matt Ceramic
Presented for the first time in 2015, the Carrera HEUER-01 rapidly established itself as THE signature chronograph from the Manufacture TAG Heuer, heralding a new design, a new Heuer 01 in-house calibre, as well as a new modular case design comprising 12 different elements. More sophisticated and contemporary than ever, it returns in an all-ceramic interpretation featuring a beadblasted finishing creating a beautiful deep black shade. Case, bezel, lugs and case middle: all parts exposed to friction are made of ceramic. This ultra-hard material is particularly resistant to scratching, does not oxidise and maintains its radiance over time, while ensuring an extremely soft feel. Further accentuating this wearer comfort, the bracelet with its H-shaped links and matt finish is also made of ceramic.

Grande Seconde Tourbillon Mother-of-Pearl
Jaquet Droz returns to its legendary Grande Seconde to create a new standard in women’s watches. To achieve this, its craftsmen have worked with one of the most beautifully luminescent materials: mother-of-pearl. Its shimmering contrasts with the red gold of the case and the inner bezel ring, further enhanced by a river of diamonds. Precious and refined, the Grande Seconde Tourbillon Mother-of-Pearl has secrets of its own, beginning with the white mother-of-pearl adornment on the oscillating weight, and the bridges with a fanned Côtes de Genève motif. One of the masterpieces of horological complications resides at 12 o’clock: the tourbillon. A miniature mechanical sculpture, this is the first time Jaquet Droz has given its tourbillon a silicon balance-spring and pallet horns, the guarantee of absolute and lasting precision. 88-piece limited series.

Flagship Heritage 60th Anniversary 1957-2017
The perfect alliance of technical mastery and subdued elegance, the Flagship Heritage – 60th Anniversary 1957-2017 marks the 60th anniversary of Longines’ first Flagship collection, introduced in 1957. Like the original design, the back of this commemorative timepiece is engraved with the vessel that inspired its name. The face of this anniversary watch looks to that of a Flagship model that Longines’ Ambassador of Elegance Kate Winslet fell in love with during her visit to the Swiss brand’s headquarters. Proposed in steel, yellow gold or pink gold, this new Flagship has the timeless appeal of its quietly refined style, enhanced by a brushed silvery dial with eight hour-markers and four Arabic numerals. Nebula
Arnold & Son explores the length and breadth of symmetry to give life to the Nebula watch. The holistically designed, skeletonised movement and dial offer a three-dimensional view into the heart of the watch, each element of which has been purposely crafted to achieve perfect symmetry, not only horizontally and vertically but also front and back. At 12 o’clock, twin barrels providing a comfortable 90 hours of power reserve create a striking mirror effect with the small seconds and balance below. Seven triangular bridges radiate from the perimeter to the centre of the dial to form a sculptural movement, like an inverted, exploded star. Indeed, Nebula takes its name from nebulae, an astronomical term to describe a cloud of cosmic gas and dust formed from the debris of exploding stars.

Mirrored Force Resonance
Armin Strom delivers its interpretation of a phenomenon whose application in watchmaking is so complex it has rarely been attempted in past centuries: that phenomenon is resonance, whereby two balance wheels oscillating in close proximity influence each other and ultimately synchronise. By mutually compensating rate error, they increase the watch’s precision, reduce the negative effects on accuracy of outside factors such as shocks, and conserve energy. Armin Strom offers visual proof of this phenomenon by way of a patented resonance clutch spring that connects the two regulators. They enter into resonance as they rotate in opposite directions. This impressive feat of horological mechanics can be admired on the dial side.

Sculpted Gold Tourbillon 1/1
To give life to this one-of-a-kind creation, the respective visions of its two creators – ArtyA founder Yvan Arpa and master-engraver Bram Ramon – were once again united in revealing the finest manifestations of their art. Fired by a passion for Neo-Renaissance ornamental engraving, Bram has applied his famous ®Prismacut Art technique to this model. After transferring the motif to the steel dial, he hollows out cavities for the platinum inlays, before sculpting and shaping achieved by means of relief gold leaf inlays hammered into the cut-outs. Once the outlines are traced, the lengthy engraving work can begin. The entire surface is then blued to highlight the contrasts of this bas-relief motif. This one-of-a-kind creation is powered by a mechanical movement exclusive to ArtyA , while revealing the fascinating rotations of its flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock.

St-Tropez™ GreenLight
Famed for its glamour and its extremely feminine style, the St-Tropez™ appears this year adorned with a splendid cascade of green tsavorites. These gems featuring a slightly lighter shade than emeralds catch the light, giving an exceptional sparkle to the bezel and lugs. Twelve of them are also set as hour-markers on the dial, creating an elegant contrast with the white mother-of-pearl background. Vividly evoking the scenic splendour of the tiny village on the Côte d’Azur after which the collection is named, the GreenLight sends a precious breeze wafting across wrists, enhanced by the stunning sparkle of around 432 tsavorites. Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry again expresses its creative aesthetic with a rich palette of compositions which add to the Le Marché des Merveilles collection. Highlighting the workmanship within the House, the bee, the tiger and the snake, the hallmarks of this line, are elegantly embroidered on a nylon dial against the famed Gucci stripe. On the sportier versions, this stripe continues into a woven strap which bears Gucci’s expression, “L’Aveugle par Amour”. The more classic variants come with an elegant strap in brown Toscano calfskin. In 2017, the Genie brand attires men’s wrists with a new creation combining functionality and sturdiness for pleasant daily wear. The classic design of the steel case is enlivened by subtle two-tone contrasts with a yellow PVD-coated bezel and crown creating a gilded effect. The delicately structured dial picks up this refined colour scheme, while displaying perfect legibility. This remarkable understated watch face is punctuated by applied hour-markers and features small seconds at 6 o’clock and a date window at 3 o’clock, along with the famous Genie “bell” logo appearing at noon.
