BigArts Events successfully managed the Grand Opening of Taipei World Trade Centre in New Delhi

New Delhi, 23 April 2018:  Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) launched its office in New Delhi on Tuesday, 17th April 2018, with the objective of promoting trade between India and Taiwan. The media event was successfully conceptualised, managed, and executed by BigArts Events, a leading Delhi-based event management company at ITC Maurya, New Delhi. The communications partner for the event was HighViz PR, a leading public relations agency which created an effective media relations and brand communications strategy for the entire event.

BigArts Events curated a spectacular show by interspersing various entertainment factors for the audience. To produce a delightful experience 5 zones were created including the Registration Area, Display Area, Media Lounge, Photo Zone for branding of TWTC, and the Main Event Area.

The launch began with a Press Conference addressed by the Chairman of TWTC; Mr. Chung-Kwang Tien, Ambassador; Mr. Chung-Kwang Tien, Representative, Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in India and Mr. Walter M.S. Yeh – President & CEO, TWTC. In the press conference, the Chairman shared major plans of TWTC to enhance trade relations between India and Taiwan for the year 2018-19 to the key media.

The Grand Opening event took place after the press conference and witnessed the presence of imminent dignitaries including Mr. Harish Meena, Member of Parliament; Mr. Deepak Kumar, IAS, Executive Director, ITPO; and Ms Ambika Sharma, Director General, FICCI, Ms. Meenakshi Lekhi, Member of Parliament, and Mr. Sohinder Gill, Director- Corporate Affairs, SMEV, among other dignitaries and corporates, coming together to notify the MOUs signing for promoting bilateral trade between India and Taiwan. The show started with the emcee welcoming the guests and building up the momentum for the grand launch. This was followed by a spectacular dance performance to showcase and celebrate the ethnicity of the Indian culture and reflecting the strength of this association between India & Taiwan.

The launch marked the start of a new chapter in India-Taiwanese business relation with leading Indian organizations such as Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Society of Manufactures of Electric Vehicles (SMEV) and World Trade Center, Mumbai among the corporates, signing MOUs for greater trade collaboration to enhance India-Taiwanese partnership in the field of exhibitions, electric vehicles, smart city and petrochemicals.

Post the MoU Signing, the guests experienced a soulful performance by JUGNI, a leading music band comprising amazingly talented musicians; leaving the audience swaying and foot-tapping to the music as the vigour picked up.
