BRITISH AIRWAYS SPECIAL #FLIGHTOFLOVE TAKES OFF ON VALENTINE’S DAY

New Delhi, 14 February 2017: Keeping up with the spirit of this season of love, British Airways celebrated the Valentine’s Day with its happy customers flying the BA 142 or the #FlightofLove in the wee hours of 14 February.

British Airways greeted all its customers flying the BA142 – synonymous with the date of 14 February – from New Delhi to London Heathrow with heart shaped Valentine’s Day special chocolates. The customers also received a special note from British Airways.

Those travelling with their loved ones or on their way to meet their partners got the exclusive opportunity to win exciting prizes by clicking their pictures and sharing their love stories with #FlightofLove and tagging @British_Airways on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

In February 2016, British Airways won the Consumer Superbrand for the third time in a row, and the Business Superbrand for the second year in a row at the Superbrands 2016 Awards. This is the first time that any company has won both prestigious titles in two consecutive years.
