British Council Chennai is now open for registrations for the new term starting September 2015

Workshop for Adults on Sunday 30 August

The British Council’s English Language Centre offers courses to suit your English learning needs. The English courses will help you with clear learning objectives, speaking and listening practice and regular feedback with end of course counselling to support you to gain confidence to use the language.

The centre offers more than just a regular classroom language teaching: a whole range of exciting value additions for students, like, conversation club, movie nights, a dedicated English zone at the library, discounted annual library membership for students and many more customer engagement activities aimed at helping you improve your language skills. New term starts from 07 September 2015. Join now.

Workshops

 

Speaking clearly workshop for Adults is aimed at increasing participants’ fluency and confidence while communicating with others. It deals with some key aspects of phonology such as tone, intonation, pause, pace and stress. The workshop will also highlight particular problem areas for students which include failure to listen actively to others, stilted speech, etc.

 

Date: Sunday 30 August 2015 from 10.00 to 17.00

 

The classes are organised according to the language ability of the students, which is determined by a level test. Early applicants will receive priority on courses availability and class timings.
