From CamEra to Madhubani : banglanatak.com invites you to a night flight to creativity

Avra's photo at Allen ParkCamEra – Public Place Photography exhibition took place at 22 places on Sep 20-22 and is a great hit. Over 42,000 people (we counted only those who stopped and watched) appreciated photographs on Kolkata’s heritage and lifestyle. In the coming week, on Sep 27-29, we will have second and last round of public place photography exhibition at 16 places – Star Theatre, Chitpur Yuva Star Club, College Square, Bagbazar Amar Adhikar, Santosh Mitra Square, Allen Park, Mohor Kunja, Jatin Das Park, Jatrik Jadavpur, Golf Green Ph IV Pujo, Forum Mall, Deshapriya Park, Badamtala Asarsangha, in front of Gallery Gold, 6 Ballygunge place. 100 photographers are exhibiting their photographs. If you get time, dont miss it :-). Exhibition timing is mostly daytime, however in few places there is light. Enclosing 4 photos, to give an idea.

We also have Madhubani festival scheduled on Oct 4-6 at Simri, Madhubani. If you plan to visit Madhubani, let us know (Niloy 99030 43382). Chau Dance, Ramleela, Fakiri Qawwali, Lokgeet performances on both evenings (on 4th and 5th). There are more than 300 Madhubani painters in that area – they are extremely nice people. You will love to be with them to enjoy their annual celebration of Mithila painting. These artists put up 50 stalls. This year Jeevika (Bihar Govt Rural Livelihood Mission) is supporting their festival.
