Chennai Metro and Ola come together to bring last mile connectivity for commuters

 

  • As part of the agreement, 11 Chennai Metro stations will have dedicated Ola Kiosks
  • Ola will address last mile connectivity for hundreds of thousands of metro commuters

Chennai, July 03, 2017: Ola, India’s most popular mobile app for transportation has joined hands with Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL). The association will enable easy and affordable mobility experience for commuters as 11 key stations on the metro route get equipped with dedicated Ola kiosks.

With this association, Ola aims to provide a consistent mobility experience to hundreds of thousands of passengers, who use the Chennai Metro service for their daily commute. Consumers will have access to Ola’s wide range of mobility solutions including, Micro, Mini, Share, Prime, Outstation, and Rental cab categories, as well as the widely popular Ola Auto category. Ola representatives will also be available at the kiosks to help commuters get a reliable ride with ease. Ola Kiosks will be operational from 1st week of July, 2017 at Little Mount, Guindy, Ashok Nagar, Vadapalani, CMBT, Koyambedu, Thirumangalam, Anna Nagar East, Nehru Park, Alandur, and St. Thomas Mount metro stations .
