Control Risks appoints two senior leaders to its business in India

controlrisksNew Delhi, 16 November 2016: Control Risks, an independent global risk consultancy, recently appointed two senior leaders to its South Asia Business, Andrew Macintosh and Abhijit Yadav. Andrew joins as Executive Director of Consulting Services and Abhijit as Executive Director of the Compliance, Forensics and Intelligence practice.

Andrew will have overall responsibility for the company’s risk consulting offering, with a particular focus on forensic investigations, technology and cyber security solutions. He also works to coordinate with other practices throughout the Asia Pacific and Global business.

Prior to assuming this role, Andrew served as the head of Control Risks’ technology consulting practice in Asia Pacific, and headed the fraud and forensic investigations practice for Greater China and North Asia. He was previously based in Shanghai. He holds an admirable track record in solving complex investigative, integrity due diligence, business intelligence, litigation support and problem-solving projects.

Before Control Risks, Andrew was a senior technical officer for the New South Wales Crime Commission.

Abhijit will focus on expanding the company’s investigative and business intelligence offering. He has formidable experience in conducting complex assignments, including complex market intelligence, fraud, and US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) investigations for a broad range of multinational clients and wealth funds in India. He has been actively involved in cracking many sensitive cases for clients in India and around the world.

Abhijit served for 13 years as an officer in the Indian Navy, most recently as deputy director of signals intelligence. He then joined Pinkerton Corporate Risk Management, where he led business intelligence, due diligence and corporate investigation engagements across the Indian subcontinent. Before joining Control Risks, Abhijit was Senior Director at FTI Consulting India, where he played a pivotal role in setting up the firm’s India operations.
