Mumbai, February 24, 2015: A two-day CSR session titled ‘Social Impact Measurement Workshop’ at Wockhardt Towers was a platform for CSR experts to discuss on the social impact measurement tool viz: SROI. The workshop aimed to generate enhanced understanding among companies, social enterprises and non-profit organizations looking for practical ways to start measuring the social impact of their society and community programs. International CSR expert, Monaem Ben Lellahom, Co-founder and Head of Enterprise Sustainability Consultancy Services at Sustainable Square Consultancy and Think Tank, a regional Dubai addressed the attendees at the session.

Together the expert members discussed on the measurements tools best suited for social impact of CSR programmes. Among the attendees were eminent organizations such as Indian Centre for CSR, HDFC Life, MET Institute of Management and Arpan among others. Sharing the impact of some very well received programmes of Wockhardt Foundation was Dr Huzaifa Khorakiwala. He said, “Many institutes and organizations are doing a lot of good work for the society. This initiative offers a platform to experts in CSR to come together and address challenges in programme execution. This time, the discussion was on social impact measurement of which it is imperative to measure the tangible and intangible impact of every programme.”
