Curtin University Delegation visits The NorthCap University, Gurgaon

Gurgaon, In what comes as an Indo-Australian initiative towards a collaborative approach to globalizing education, a high-level delegation from Curtin Business School, Curtin University, Australia visited The NorthCap University recently.

The delegation, which included some veteran faculty members of Curtin Business School like Prof. Peter Galvin and Prof. Steve Mckenna, delivered prominent lectures to NorthCap students on different perspectives of management education, apart from discussing opportunities in Research, Industry tie ups and Student Mobilization. More than 200 Students attended the session

While Prof. Peter Galvin is the Director of the MBA programme at Curtin Graduate School of Business, Prof. Steve Mckenna – the Director, MBA (Global) at School of Management – has extensive research in the field of Work Life Integration. The delegation also met the Dean and the faculty members of The School of Management, NorthCap University to explore future collaborations in areas of research. “MBA (Global) program is lucrative for Indian students as students get to learn about Business Management which is ranked at the same level as IITs in global rankings, maybe a notch higher,” said Prof. Peter Galvin in his address.

Curtin Business School is one of the leading Business Schools in Australia and has an AACSB accreditation. Ranked a notch above the IITs, at 210 in Times World Rankings, Curtin is amongst the top 10 education providers in Australia with on-campus student population exceeding 35,000. Last year they had formalized their research tie ups- through Curtin India Research Academy- with quite a few IITs and IIMs.
