DLF Foundation organizes “Rethinking Sustainability Agenda: Generating Innovative Projects & Partnerships

DLF Foundation and GlobalHunt Foundation jointly organized The Collaboration Hub on Corporate Sustainable Responsibility titled “Rethinking Sustainability Agenda: Generating Innovative Projects & Partnerships in Gurgaon. The hub saw best case practice presentations from key corporate leaders such as Mr. Pau Abello, Managing Director, Roca Bathroom India Private Ltd, Mr. Rajiv Mishra, V.P-Media & CSR, Samsung, Ms. Mamta Saikia, Head and V.P, Bharti Foundation, Mr. Ravi Bhatnagar, Manager External Affairs, Reckitt Benckiser among others such as Eli Lily & Company, ETI Dynamics, GMR, Genesis Foundation and Fifth Estate. There was also key participation from Nokia, SRF Limited, Future Group, Ricoh India, The Lemon Tree Hotels, Unicharm India, Spark Minda and NIIT Foundation etc. The overall objective of the workshop was to go beyond the discourse of sustainability and Initiate collaborations and alliances among the vital stakeholders. Some of the key issues addressed in the workshop were Aligning CSR with Sustainability, Risk Mitigation, Human Rights, Due Diligence, Supply Chain Sustainability and Sharing of effective CSR learning models for other stakeholders.

The workshop was initiated by Mr. Ritesh Sinha, Associate Director Programmes, DLF Foundation who talked about some of the key CSR projects of DLF and emphases how partnerships has resulted in their effective and successful implementation. Carrying forward the discussion Ms. Radhika Ralhan, Manager Corporate Sustainability, GlobalHunt Foundation deliberated on the overall existing scenario of CSR and Sustainability in India. DLF Foundation is carrying forward the CSR Collaboration Hub initiated by GlobalHunt Foundation to leverage transformative partnerships which will be created on shared sustainable principles, values and is a platform for aligning public – private- people commitments and partnerships.

The hubs are being organized at regular intervals. The overall objective of the Foundation is to act as a catalyst to bring together like minded people on a CSR platform to pitch their specific case study, projects and eventually .The hub imbibes an egalitarian principle where leaders across pan India are invited to share their innovative projects on the contemporary discourse of CSR” said Radhika Ralhan, Manager Corporate Sustainability, GlobalHunt Foundation.
