According to DMCA senior executives, the Dubai Maritime Summit is a first-of-its-kind event that looks towards discussing new developments and issues facing the international maritime industry, maritime clustering and the emirate’s current efforts in positioning Dubai as the world’s leading maritime hub. DMCA will also be hosting an event to recognize the significant contributions made by its partners towards the development of the local maritime industry.

Amer Ali, Executive Director, DMCA, said, “Dubai Maritime Week complements DMCA’s role in promoting the emirate’s position as a world class maritime centre while also building a solid base to improve Dubai’s maritime facilities—making it globally competitive and adhering to the highest international standards and practices. We are also proud to be organizing the first-ever Dubai Maritime Summit, which is expected to gather the most prominent regional and international experts and decision-makers, ship owners and operators and officials from public and private companies operating in the maritime sector of Dubai, the region and the world. This pioneering summit will feature leading speakers from International Maritime Organization, the International Association of Classification Societies, INTERTANKO, and Maritime London.”
