Flash Mob to Empower women and Children rocks Jantar Mantar

New Delhi,  31st October 2015: A high power flash mob with 200 children livened up  Jantar Mantar today. Promoting the message of women empowerment and child development NGO SWAPN and SERVE SAMMAN  introduced this initiative with the aim to sensitize the community. Aptly titled “Freedom” this event is a step towards liberating this usually ignored segment towards self-expression.

Women and Child Development has been the core of India’s development plans as this holds the key to future success and development of the nation. Women are the backbone and children are the torch bearer for any nation. As such “Freedom” was a call out to all women and children to come and experience an evening of expression and breaking all ties. The flash mob aimed at promoting Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Movement, Freedom towards Growth and Freedom from all the ties that have held them back so far.

With the last successful flash mob that entered Unique book of world records this event was held to take the awareness campaign one notch high. Conceptualized by NGO SWAPN and SERVE SAMMAN this event was supported by The Brand Box.

Dr Rachna K Singh, H.O.D. Psychology and Holistic Health, Artemis Hospital Gurgaon and  Director of The Mind and Wellness Studio and SWAPN said, “Our event FREEDOM is about empowering each and every human and not only women. Our aim is remove the stress of basics of food and education and give a platform to nurture their creativity. We help them develop their personality holistically from the emotional, physical and spiritual perspective.”

Known for his famous bollywood spins and mixes DJ Khushi works as a talent scout and picks up kids that show the extra-ordinary caliber in vocations of singing and dancing. “These kids are super talented and just need someone to guide them and hone their skills. Through my connections I get them job ready in their fields of expertise whether it is singing or dancing or Dj. Our endeavour is to make them independent and self-reliant.”

Ms Sheila Dikshit (ex- CM Delhi) who was the Chief Guest today but couldn’t make it due to unavoidable circumstances sent her message that women and children are the essence of all growth and development and appreciated the commendable efforts of NGO SWAPN and SERVE SAMMAN.

With the historic Jantar Mantar as the backdrop the mission was to help all those in our capacity to enhance their abilities in the process of aspiring towards a better life.

Going a step beyond the event also witnessed the launch of the First ever Stress Management Mobile Application. A one stop solution to wellness, holistic and mental awareness, stress-busting games, self-help articles all at your fingertips.

The fervor and zeal of the participants was unmatchable and their livewire performance rocked central Delhi with the crowd joining in and cheering with the participants.

 Guest of Honour – Mr. Ajay Chowdhry ( OSD to Lt Governor Delhi), Ms. Madhuri Parti (Director Shri Ram Global School, Gurgaon), Mr. Mukesh Anand (Vice Chairman, Bangla Sahib Charitable Hospital), Mr. Dilbagh Singh (Bollywood Singer of Tanu Weds Manu fame, Rusen Kumar, Editor In Chief India CSR were also  present.
