Happy Single-tines!

Single people seem much more powerful than ever before

Valentine’s Day 2018 brings empowerment to the Idea of love which comes in many forms. With a best friend who is always there when you need some advice or your family that brings you comfort wherever you are. It is now, a day to appreciate all things we love and most importantly ourselves. It’s a love stronger than any other love. You are the one person who has been a constant to yourself, all along.

Sagar K. Datta, Author, Sanaz, said, “Valentines is a day equally for singles as much as it is for couples. It’s a day in and about love so that can be for and with anyone and what better than having some good read along that takes you through a stream of emotions this Valentine’s.”

If you’re spending this February 14th alone, there’s no reason for it to be just another day. Treat yourself with these amazing ideas because You deserve it!

Serve yourself some wine, because why not?

Valentine’s Day and red wine go together like your body and soul. Grab a super-chic bottle for you. Let’s be honest, sometimes a normal glass of wine doesn’t cut.

Learn about yourself

Explore all the places you wanted to go. Singlites’ know that love is an insight job and we have to love ourselves before we can fully, deeply love another. We know how to be happy within ourselves before we can find happiness with another.

Spend time with yourself. A book and a cup of coffee alone can do wonders.

This Valentine’s Day, instead of (or in addition to) finding that perfect gift for someone else, consider turning some of that love for yourself.

Write yourself a love letter

The moments you take pride in, all the goals you achieved by the end of the month. People you want to talk about. You are hustling hard to make your dreams come true. Write it all down.

Write a letter that says everything you love about yourself. Maybe it’s your ability to always get those papers turned in at the last minute or how you’re always there for a friend in need. Write about things you’ve done that you’re proud of and the things you hope to accomplish in the future. You can read this letter again later when you need a reminder that you love and support yourself.

If long-form handwriting isn’t your thing, keep the message short and sweet, It can be an email or even a text message. Open it when you really, really need to know what’s so great about you.

Gift yourself a Shayari book

A good read about love, poetry, friendship, life, and relationships need no tag of being committed. You can really live moments by reading words and do enjoy yourself. It is an ocean and you will always find, that you still have something yet to be.

Sanaz- Shayari for a sufi soul“, authored by Sagar K. Datta is an Urdu poetry book reviving the culture of shayaris in India. It is a form of dynamic resistance in a world of violence, tyranny, and bigotry.
