IACET Expands Influence on Training Standards in India

(Reston, Virginia USA, November 1, 2017) The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), a global non-profit leader in continuing education and training standards, announced today it was extending its influence into India which is one of the world’s largest training markets.  IACET is setting up regional meetings with training providers in New Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru during the first two weeks of December 2017 to discuss global trends in training and how an emphasis on training standards can help make training providers more competitive and the Indian workforce better qualified.

IACET CEO, Joe McClary said, “Helping ensure a qualified workforce through quality training is what IACET does through its accreditation program.  India has the same challenges that many countries have in that they must close skill gaps of its workforce or re-learn lessons from inefficiency, injury or worse death in the cases of health and public safety.”  IACET’s Continuing Education and Training Standard is accredited through the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and is the leading standard for instructional design and delivery in the world.

IACET is scheduling meetings with organizations interested in learning more about IACET and becoming globally recognized as a high-quality training provider along with how IACET training accreditation can:

  • give training organizations a competitive edge.
  • help organizations benchmark themselves against a global standard.
  • help prepare for succession planning.
  • assist in streamlining the continuing education and training operations and create new efficiencies.
  • help training organizations offer high quality instructional design and delivery that will bring clients back.
  • discuss the opportunity to partner on world class train-the-trainer events to ensure instructions not only know course content but are also exemplary instructors.

IACET will be in New Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru during the first two weeks of December in 2017.  Visit IACET.org/India for more information.
