Inchcape Shipping Services appoints EVP of Operations for Asia Pacific

inchcapelogoInchcape Shipping Services (ISS), the world’s leading maritime services provider, has appointed Romi Kaushal as Executive Vice President of Operations for their Asia Pacific region.

Based in Singapore, Romi will have operational management responsibility for 17 countries in the region. He will focus on driving growth for ISS by exploring and developing new business opportunities and will retain and reward ISS’ existing customers with a renewed emphasis on operational excellence and exceptional customer care.

With extensive experience in operations and shore based management, Romi has worked in senior commercial and operational positions across the globe. Romi was also a Principal Consultant for KPMG, CEO for the Emirates Shipping Line in Hong Kong and has held shipping roles in Hamburg, New York, Dubai and Montreal.  He started his career at sea as an apprentice and was an officer at sea with P&O Bulk Shipping before coming ashore in 1996.
