Industry Leaders to Headline 2013 Silver Industrial Conference

(Washington, D.C. – October 9, 2013)  An international gathering of leading industry executives will present at the Silver Industrial Conference in Washington, D.C., on October 22-23. The conference, hosted by the Silver Institute, will explore the growing and changing requirements for silver by manufacturers and look at technical developments in the commercial and industrial space.

The conference will focus on new uses of silver and the expanding opportunities in the global marketplace.  It will also provide expert insight into the developments and practices within the largest industrial sectors of silver demand, given that the industrial uses of silver account for over 50 percent of overall demand.

Industry experts who will drive the debate at the conference include:

The Conference will be held at the Capital Hilton Hotel in downtown Washington, D.C., and begins with a welcome reception at 6:00 pm on October 22.  The conference program will begin at 8:45 am on October 23.  Registered attendees include executives from across the silver supply chain, including those from industrial fabricators, refiners, miners, technology companies, bullion bankers and Federal agencies.
