Marko Roth’s 12 Days in Oman video picked for National Geographic’s short film showcase

German traveler showcases Oman’s natural beauty and cultural traditions under 4 minutes

A specially created documentary film on the Sultanate of Oman, entitled ‘12 days in Oman,’ has recently been picked for the National Geographic’s Short Film Showcase. The documentary was created by German traveler and filmmaker Marko Roth who aimed to capture the rich cultural landscape and wealth of natural resources he had encountered during his visit to the country. ‘12 days in Oman,’ is also featured in National Geographic’s website.

The short film follows the adventure of Marko and his friends as they travel to breathtaking spots around the Sultanate, gathering footage of lush mountains, idyllic beaches, stunning desert views and lively cities. National Geographic’s short film showcase is a collection of awe-inspiring creations from talented filmmakers’ highlighting the most exotic and sought after destinations around the world, all of which was selected following the distinguished organization’s strict standards for content and aesthetics.
