Mobile World Congress: Airbus boosts professional communications

Airbus addresses Mobile Network Operators worldwide to leverage collaboration solutions and broadband services for industries

Dubai, UAE, 25 February 2019 – Airbus intensifies its activities to globally cooperate with Mobile Network Operators in order to offer specific group communication products for Transport, Utilities and Industries (TUI).

At the Mobile World Congress, Airbus is looking for partners who intend to leverage more efficiently customized communication tools for large companies. By partnering with Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), Airbus can bring more easily advanced tools to end users and integrate them in existing communication infrastructures.

“The communication market for industries has huge potential when it comes to bringing real benefit to the end users. They expect a smarter technology that meets their future challenges.  Therefore, Airbus steps into the gap with compelling group collaboration tools, applications, broadband features, and its experience.” says Olivier Koczan, Head of Secure Land Communications at Airbus. “We are the partner who gives added value to both, the MNOs and the large businesses, thanks to our tailored solutions.”

Companies in the field of oil & gas, energy, logistics and transportation especially depend, to large extent, on reliable mobile communication networks in order to coordinate their teams in many locations. However, each enterprise has different demands on how group communication on existing network platforms should be organized in the future to master their digitalization strategies.

Thanks to its profound knowledge and experience, Airbus combines various tools of its Tactilon Agnet, a collaboration tool for smart devices, and Tetra radios, to complement existing mobile network infrastructures with secure broadband services.
