UAE is the global capital of the world, with close to 200 nationalities contributing to the country’s continuous growth and Indians constitute over 30% of the total population.

In an effort to appreciate the strong bond between the UAE and India, Montegrappa joined forces with Forbes in honoring the Top Indian Leaders in the UAE.

His Excellency Mr. T.P. Seetharam, the Ambassador of India to the UAE was the guest of honor.

Also present at the event as a special celebrity guest was the Superstar of the Indian film industry, Shah Rukh Khan. Aptly known as the ‘Baadshah of Bollywood (the King of Bollywood), Shah Rukh Khan brought a different allure to the ceremony. After mesmerizing the audience with his speech on leadership skills, SRK sat down for a heart-to-heart session interacting with the guests at the event, where he opened his heart out on his personal life, his struggle and the journey to stardom.

A guest from the audience asked ‘what defines a person – is it the journey to success or success itself?’

To which Shah Rukh Khan answered beautifully saying ‘humility defines a person’.

Adding to the glamor of the night were Dr. B.R. Shetty (CEO and MD of New Medical Centre Group of Companies and UAE Exchange), Dr. Zulekha Daud (Managing Director of the Zulekha Healthcare Group) among the others.

Montegrappa presented a special nerouno gift set to Shah Rukh Khan and Dr. Nasser Bin Aqeel Al Tayyar, President and Publisher of Forbes Middle East, with their names engraved on the boxes. The gift sets consisted of a pen, cufflinks and perfume. Shah Rukh Khan was humbled upon receiving this gift and even sprayed the perfume while appreciating the notes of the fragrance.

Montegrappa also presented gifts to all the guests present at the event and showed its appreciation to the visionaries who have helped shape the economy of the UAE.
