Nickel Institute appoints Fabien Henry as Manager,Regulatory Affairs, South East Asia

TORONTO-23 July 2018 – The Nickel Institute has appointed Fabien Henry to the new role of Manager, Regulatory Affairs, South East Asia, based in Singapore.

Fabien will be responsible for ensuring that sound science and risk management are considered when regulations are developed in South East Asia for nickel and nickel compounds. He will represent the interests of the nickel sector with supra-governmental organisations in the region, national authorities and industry associations.

Fabien joins the Nickel Institute from Lisam Singapore Pte. Ltd, where he established the company’s local office and was a Regulatory Affairs and Business Consultant. Prior to moving to Singapore in 2015, Fabien spent five years at Lisam Services Telegis in France. At Lisam Fabien gained extensive experience as a consultant on regulatory monitoring and support for corporate clients, working on chemicals management regulatory topics such as REACH and GHS.

Fabien is a French citizen. He has an MSc in Chemical Engineering from the Ecole Supérieur de Chimie Organique et Minérale and a BSc from the Université de Cergy Pontoise, France.
