Optimus Steel Joins the Steel Manufacturers Association

Washington, D.C.  – The Steel Manufacturers Association (SMA) announced today that Optimus Steel has joined the association.

Optimus Steel is located in Beaumont, Texas and specializes in the production of wire rod and coiled rebar. The mill has a meltshop capacity of approximately 700,000 tons per year and a rolling mill capacity of about 800,000 tons per year.
