The Gartner Supply Chainnovators Program and JDA Software Real Results Award Recognized SanDisk for Driving Better Supply Chain Performance and Elevating the Role of Supply Chain

SanDisk recently made a number of advancements to further enhance the responsiveness and consistency of the company’s supply chain operations. In 2013, daily end-to-end supply chain planning and replenishment cycles, and a carefully planned manufacturing and inventory postponement strategy enabled SanDisk to improve safety stock and on-time delivery performance metrics by more than 10 percent and deliver on the original promise date more than 95 percent of the time. As a result, the company shortened its frozen production plan period, allowing for highly segmented service levels to meet customer requirements around the world.
