Superstar Serena Williams returns to court as AccorHotels Official Ambassador for Australian Open

AccorHotels, an Official Partner of the Australian Open, has for the third year in a row signed on tennis superstar Serena Williams as its Official Ambassador for the tournament, as the new mother prepares for a return to centre court just months after giving birth to her daughter.

“I am thrilled to return as AccorHotels Official Ambassador for the 2018 Australian Open,” said Serena. “I love staying with AccorHotels because they make me feel like family and I can rest and recover in comfort and style.”

“As one of the most celebrated athletes of all time, Serena is the perfect ambassador for AccorHotels for the Australian Open and we are thrilled that she has signed on with us again,” said Michael Issenberg, CEO AccorHotels Asia Pacific. “Serena clearly embodies excellence and determination that are core values for our Group, she is truly an inspiration to our teams, our guests and tennis fans the world over,” he continued.

AccorHotels’ partnership with the Australian Open will see the group provide information services to Australian Open fans, staff training for the Melbourne Park service hubs and player concierge services. AccorHotels will also proudly host the Australian Open 2018 Official Player Party and provide exclusive benefits to members of its Le Club AccorHotels and Accor Plus loyalty programs to enjoy the Australian Open in style.
