TMK ships LDP for Bovanenkovo-Ukhta pipeline

TMK, one of the world’s leading suppliers of tubular products for the oil and gas industry, has shipped large diameter pipes (LDP) made by its Volzhsky Pipe Plant for the Gazprom-led Bovanenkovo-Ukhta pipeline construction.

Under the project, in March to April 2014, TMK shipped approximately 30,000 tonnes of 1,420 mm longitudinal welded pipes with three-layer external PE coating and anti-friction inner coating.

Going forward, TMK plans to ship a total of 45,000 tonnes of LD pipe to meet Gazprom’s order for the Bovanenkovo-Ukhta gas transit system.
