Xiamen Airlines (MF) – now available to sell via BSP

xiamenMumbai, 26th February, 2015: Xiamen Airlines (MF/731), member of SkyTeam Alliance, has joined BSP India as a participating carrier effective 09th October 2014. The airline has appointed AVIAREPS India as its General Sales & Service Agent (GSSA) in India. AVIAREPS will manage all the capping requests for Xiamen in India.

 

Xiamen Airlines operates scheduled passenger and cargo flights out of its main hubs of Xiamen (XMN), Fuzhou (FOC) and Hangzhou (HGH). The airline serves nearly 60 destinations throughout Greater China region, as well as main cities in Southeast and Northeast Asia. Being the only Chinese airline – Xiamen Airlines, is offering 5% sales commission on published fares to the accredited agents on all tickets issued on MF stock in BSP IN.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Hu Nan, General Manager of International Marketing Department, Xiamen Airlines said, “Joining BSP in India was a necessary step for us in order to effectively distribute our product in the Indian market and cater to the growing demand in India. By appointing AVIAREPS and joining BSP, we have been able to sell swiftly and monitor our progress month on month.”

 

Xiamen Airlines is the only Chinese airline which operates a fleet solely of Boeing aircraft. The fleet is comprised of 114 aircrafts with a total seating capacity number of 18,710. With an average airplane service age of 4.62 years, the fleet ranks as one of the youngest in the airline industry of the world.
