New agreement to support patients in need and community outreach

Dubai, UAE, 16 December, 2015: Zulekha Hospital has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Sharjah Charity International to provide healthcare facilities to those in need living in Sharjah and the Norther Emirates.

The new agreement will see both parties collaborate to identify people in their UAE community who cannot afford healthcare treatment and to assist in receiving the right treatment modalities at Zulekha Hospitals through this combined effort.

Open to both UAE nationals and expatriates alike, the initiative will not discriminate against any patient and will see a number of under privileged patients receiving state of the art, quality services in order to help them live more healthy lives.

The MoU was signed at Zulekha Hospital Sharjah by Mr Taher Shams, Managing Director, Zulekha Hospital and Mr Abdulla Sultan Bin Khadim, Executive Manager, Sharjah Charity International.

The MoU will have a direct impact on the health of local communities and is an important step forward in the development of Zulekha Hospital in the UAE.  Today, the Zulekha Healthcare Group runs two multi-specialty hospitals – Dubai and Sharjah, three medical centres and a pharmacy network.
