New Delhi, May 8 , 2013: Expo Riva Schuh India has, by now, become a fundamental date in the International exhibition calendar. Having reached its third edition, the showcase for footwear and leather accessories has claimed its role as the fair of note in the Asian continent and will be back, from4th to 6th July 2013 at the Pragati Maidan Exhibition Centre of New Delhi. It was officially announced at the Press Conference held at the Italian Trade Commission, New Delhi. This fair is organized by Riva Del Garda Fierecongressi & Italian Exposition Pvt. Ltd (IEPL), in cooperation with Council of Leather Exports (CLE), ITPO and ICE – Italian Trade Commission, Trade Promotion Section of the Italian Embassy.
Expo Riva Schuh India is exclusively for finished products in different sectors, from footwear to leather accessories. India’s first fair dedicated to finished products in footwear, bags, gloves, belts and leather accessories on offer from both Indian and International exhibitors. Exhibitors represent the entire world’s production, from important Asian districts (China, India, Malaysia, Spain, Germany, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Thailand) to Italian and European brands.

The fair follows an innovative format that will showcase products by over 200 Indian and International exhibitors from Italy, Spain, France, UK, China, Thailand and other countries.
Italy will be represented by as many as 40 top brands like Giovanni Fabiani, Loriblu, Manas, Massimo Santini, Fabi and Fratesi. IMAC Group will also be present at the fair, focusing on technological development and innovative materials.
China will be at the fair with 40 companies from some of the leading Chinese production centers such as The Xiamen L&C International Exhibition, the Guangdong Economic Association and the Fujian Foreign Economic Service Trade, which are world leaders in the organisation of fairs and international exhibitions in the footwear sector.
The Thai Footwear Industry Association will also be represented by a significant number of exhibitors from Thailand, the expression of a production system which is acquiring a crucial role in the global panorama of the footwear industry.
The Leather industry is bestowed with an affluence of raw materials as India is endowed with 21% of world cattle & buffalo and 11% of world goat & sheep population. Added to this are the strengths of skilled manpower, innovative technology, increasing industry compliance to international environmental standards, and the dedicated support of the allied industries.
