Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M), a part of the US $ 15.4 billion Mahindra Group, today unveiled the much anticipated SsangYong Rexton, a luxurious, powerful and premium global SUV by Mahindra, at Mumbai. Designed and developed by SsangYong in Korea, this is the third generation Rexton, most suitable for the discerning Indian customer. Available at Mahindra dealerships in Delhi NCR and Mumbai from October 18th 2012, the SsangYong Rexton by Mahindra will retail at a price of Rs. 17.67 Lac, ex-showroom Mumbai* for the RX5 version with manual transmission and Rs. 19.67 Lac, ex-showroom Mumbai* for the RX7 version with automatic transmission.
The SsangYong Rexton is manufactured and assembled at Mahindra’s Chakan Plant near Pune by sourcing components from SsangYong Korea and from India.
