1st July, 2013: Each Forevermark diamond is inscribed with a promise that it is beautiful, rare and has been responsibly sourced. Forevermark holds firm the belief that all promises should be as unbreakable as theirs and as such is creating a collection of promises from around the world, brought together at www.forevermark.com/promise.
Building on the success of the 2012 A Promised Shared campaign, the site brings to life Forevermark’s unique promise whilst offering a host of engaging features and content to encourage people around the world to share moments with loved ones that will never be forgotten.
The Message
One of the website’s interactive features is The Message which gives consumers the opportunity to make their own promise by leaving a heartfelt message for someone they love and geo-tagging it to a real world location that is meaningful to the two of them. It is only when the loved one arrives at that special location that they can read the message. Whether sending a promise to the other side of the world or to a loved one at home; whether it’s a life-changing moment or simply to say ‘I’m thinking of you’, The Message is a unique way to make promises truly last forever. More can be learned about how to use The Message at youtu.be/9pu-BuGwRFs.
Forevermark & Gareth Pugh
One person who has already made their promise is world-renowned fashion designer, Gareth Pugh, who has made a commitment to learn more about the unique way in which Forevermark diamonds are responsibly sourced, carefully selected and expertly crafted in accordance with the brand’s strict criteria and high business, social and environmental standards. Inspired by this unique promise, Gareth will create his first diamond jewellery piece using Forevermark diamonds and consumers can follow his personal journey on the new Promise website, seeing details of his diamond creation unfold over the coming months.
Design Your Own
Just like Gareth Pugh, consumers can also take inspiration from Forevermark’s promise and craft their own unique Forevermark diamond jewellery piece in six simple steps using the Design Your Own feature on the website. Whether designing for themselves or with a loved one in mind, consumers can select your preferred cut and band, choose a setting that shows off the full beauty of their diamond and even compliment their ring with elegant pavé. Once complete, consumers have the option to download their personalised image or share with others on social networks.
Stephen Lussier, CEO, Forevermark commented, “Less than one per cent of diamonds are eligible to be inscribed with the Forevermark icon and unique individual number, proof of Forevermark’s enduring promise of beauty, rarity and responsible sourcing. We are delighted to unveil our new website that encapsulates our unwavering commitment to this promise. We hope, in turn, to inspire others to make their own promises, from the big ones you make once in a lifetime to the smaller ones that you make every day, using the wide variety of features on the site.”
Subscribers to the website will receive the latest news, promises and stories from designers as well as updates from a variety of international events hosted around the world, in honour of this year’s Promise campaign.
