Mr. HrithikRakeshRoshan was admitted at Hinduja Healthcare Surgical, Khar under Dr. B. K Mishra, Consultant and Head of Dept. of Neurosurgery on 6th July 2013 with chief complaints of head ache. He had a history of sudden onset of headache after impact on his head during an action sequence of a film that he was shooting for; 2 months back.CT Plain and MRI of the brain which was done on 5th July showed left frontoparietalsubacute subdural haematoma. Hrithik was admitted to Hinduja Healthcare Surgical, Khar on 6th July at 10:30 pm and was operated by Dr. B.K Mishra on 7th July 2013. Burr hole and evacuation of subdural haematoma was done along with intravenous analgesics with drain in situ.
Post-operatively Mr. HrithikRoshan’s headache is better with normal hand function. He met his family and friends post the surgery.
Hrithik is advised 3 more days in the hospital post which he can gradually get to his normal lifestyle and shooting schedules post 4 weeks.
