BS Limited, (formerly known as BS TransComm Ltd), a leading infrastructure provider and preferred EPC provider, crossed the Rs. 1,000 crore turnover mark during the first half of the year (H1 FY2014) with a 21% growth in consolidated revenues (Income) amounting to Rs. 1,126.43 crore for the period ended September 30, 2013. Net Profit grew 3.5% to Rs. 30.75 crore in H1 FY2014 as compared to H1 FY 13. Basic/ Diluted EPS stood at Rs. 14.02 in H1 FY2014. The Company announced its unaudited results for the quarter ended September 30, 2013.
The Company’s Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) business posted a 22.75% growth in H1 FY2014 amounting to Rs. 749.30 crore. The EBIDTA for the EPC business grew 17.9% to Rs. 103.55 crore in H1 FY2014. The Trading in Mineral Resources (TMR) business segment grew 16.9% to Rs. 377.12 crore in H1 FY2014. The EBIDTA for the TMR business grew 72.43% to Rs. 6.51 crore in H1 FY2014.
BS Limited also posted a 6.19% growth in consolidated revenues (Income) for the quarter ended September 30, 2013 (Q2 FY2014) amounting to Rs. 619.50 crore. Net Profit dipped 5.4% to Rs. 15.5 crore in Q2 FY2014. Basic/ Diluted EPS stood at Rs. 7.06 in Q2 FY2014.
The Company’s EPC business posted a 17.83% growth in Q2 FY2014 amounting to Rs. 414.92 crore. The EBIDTA for the EPC business grew 13.56% to Rs. 53.46 crore in Q2 FY2014. The TMR business segment dipped 11.52% to Rs. 204.58 crore in Q2 FY2014. The EBIDTA for the TMR business grew 55.65% to Rs. 3.91 crore in Q2 FY2014.
The Company’s revenues on a standalone basis grew 31% to Rs. 483.25 crore in Q2 FY2014; and 25.04% to Rs. 848.07 crore in H1 FY2014. The Company’s net profit on a standalone basis stood at Rs. 13.68 crore in Q2 FY2014, and Rs. 26.85 crore in H1 FY2014.
