Companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have streamlined their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and have expanded their programs into undertakings that will greatly benefit the local society. Among those who have announced their strategic CSR-based plans is Al Falak Electronic & Supplies, which has set particular focus on playing a major role in the country’s efforts towards the protection and preservation of the environment and the further development of the youth sector.

Iyla Ashadawi, Marketing Manager of Al Falak Electronic Equipment & Supplies, said, “We have set our gears towards initiating continuous CSR activities that aim to serve the Saudi community. We remain committed in taking part of any opportunity to contribute to the development of society, particularly in the development of our youth.”

In line with this commitment, the company recently took part in the successfully concluded Rawabi Talent Exhibit (RTE) for the fourth year in a row. The initiative targets high school and college students who wish to learn more about different careers and opportunities. Participating students are given the privilege of interacting with career experts and professionals who can discuss the day-to-day activities of their respective jobs. RTE hosts several activities and events that inspire and guide students towards a more directed career path.

“We are proud to be part of the Rawabi’s Talent Exhibit, which we look forward to participating in year after year. A career is not easy to choose without knowing your options and this event provides students the opportunity to find out what skills and talents they have to help them decide on what careers to take. The activity also allows them to meet professionals from their chosen field who will help them understand their desired jobs better. During the event, we actually left all the wirings for the wirlesss internet system open for all to see, and used it later as an example to explain how advanced networking is executed,” added Ashadawi.

Al Falak provided the event with wireless connectivity using Aruba Mobility controller and access points to support the 8,000 visitors of the event. The company also hosted a booth highlighting the field of Networking. Al Falak services are now covering key areas like the KSA, Gulf Region and the Middle East through the company’s presence in markets of UAE, Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait.
