Outokumpu announced on June 18, 2014 a new organization structure and publishes now historical financial information of the new business areas.
As of September 1, 2014 Outokumpu has five business areas – Coil EMEA, Coil Americas, APAC, Quarto Plate and Long Products. Historical financial information of Coil Americas and APAC, as published in the second-quarter results in July 2014, remains unchanged. After the Specialty Stainless business area ceased to exist, Coil EMEA figures have been restated to include special coil operations in Avesta, Nyby and Kloster in Sweden. At the same time, Quarto Plate and Long Products figures, previously also part of Specialty Stainless, are now presented separately. Quarto Plate includes production and sales of quarto plate in Sweden and USA and Long Products production and sales of long products in Sweden, the UK and USA.
Tables below include historical financial information for 2013 and the first two quarters in 2014 for sales and key figures for new and restated business areas. Group level figures are unchanged. Figures are unaudited.
