Shoulder and Elbow Society of India to organize 3rd Biennial Conference

shoulder&elbowNew Delhi, January, 2015: Shoulder and Elbow Society of India, is organizing its flagship 3rd Biennial Conference cum workshop highlighting the theme “Improving Surgical Skills” on January 24th and 25th, 2015 in Indian Institute of Mass Communication, JNU, New Delhi.

 

Over the last 10 years, Delhi has become the hub for Knee & Shoulder meetings for surgeons from across India & SAARC region. This year, all of them have come together to present two world class meetings in 2015.

 

The Conference cum workshop will act as a perfect knowledge retreat for Doctors from all over India to get tips on Hands on Shoulder Arthroplasty and various elbow and shoulder surgeries. For dedicated trauma surgeons and faculty there will be special hands on teaching straight from the experienced surgeons of United Kingdom.

 

The objective of the workshop is to raise awareness for prevention, early diagnosis, and risks associated with neglecting problems of shoulder and elbow. Also, the workshop will act as a platform for surgeons to share information stemming from recent research, and train others surgeons.

 

The two day Interactive conference will cover the step by step learning process through surgical means, videos, panel discussions, current concept reviews and most importantly the extensive use of Audience Poll System. It will also focus on teaching younger surgeons the modern techniques of shoulder and elbow surgery.

 

The main pull is the 5 full-day pre-conference symposia which will cover the basics. These will accomplish the needs of young orthopods who want to initiate shoulder / elbow arthroscopy & arthroplasty.  For trauma surgeons, there will be an all day trauma session which will cater to the needs of conventional trauma surgeons. The foremost conference on 24th and 25th will address tough issues relating to shoulder and elbow injuries.
