Chris Fountain, Managing Director of Turret Media, organisers of Etisalat Fitness Fest said: “We’re thrilled to be offering a number of free activities that the whole family can enjoy. Our wide range of events means there is something for everyone, regardless of age and fitness level, to get involved in.”
The Fitness Expo will also feature a main stage offering visitors the opportunity to meet famous celebrities, athletes and coaches who will give presentations and master classes providing insights into the secrets of their success, as well as providing advice on how the audience can achieve its health and fitness goals.
A seminar stage will also be set up where leading fitness experts will be giving free seminars discussing various topics related to health and fitness.
Besides the free activities, visitors can participate in a series of challenges taking place including: the cycling challenge, fitness challenge, Ultimate Fitt Youth Games, the UAE’s fastest man and woman competition, BIZLITE 10K and the Superheroes 5K Family Fun Run.
One such challenge is Against Graviti Obstacle Race that is designed to test physical abilities and endurance as the body goes through a series of challenges, all of which focus on movement and revolve around Against Graviti’s philosophy that one’s body should never be an obstacle.
“Etisalat Fitness Fest is a great platform to introduce visitors to Against Graviti’s philosophy by creating and organising a unique obstacle race,” said Sachin Krishna Amin, Founder of ‘Against Graviti’. “This event will certainly be important in terms of emphasising the benefits of a healthy and fit lifestyle, which is far from being just a ‘trend’ but is the right way of living in order to reduce the rates of obesity and cancer within the country and the region.”
