lufthansaGrand-prize winner will receive two round-trip tickets

Lufthansa’s “India Ticket Sweepstakes,” available at lh.com/us/india, is inspiring families and friends to continue enjoying Diwali, India’s annual Hindu Festival of Lights, which is the country’s biggest and one of its most unifying as it brings loved-ones together from near and far. One grand-prize winner will be selected at random to receive two round-trip Economy Class tickets from any of Lufthansa’s 21 gateways in the U.S. and Canada to one of the airline’s five India gateways.

The sweepstakes invites entrants to answer multiple-choice questions, including some regarding Lufthansa’s flights to India. The airline introduced scheduled service to Kolkata, India in 1959 and today flies to five cities, including Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai and Pune. Year-round, Lufthansa brings a touch of India to the onboard travel experience with an extensive entertainment offering that includes reading materials, music and films; Indian cuisine featuring traditional spices on flights from India; and a large team of flight attendants and gateway staff who speak Hindi, Tamil and Punjabi.

Among the many accolades praising its service to India, Lufthansa has been named “Favorite International Airline” by the Indian travel guide Outlook Traveller; “Best International Airline to India” by the CNBC Awaaz Travel Awards; and, for three years-running, “Airline of the Year – Europe and North America” at the GMR-IGI Awards.

The sweepstakes is currently underway and ends at midnight on December 14, 2015. It is open to residents of the United States and Canada, excluding Puerto Rico and the Provence of Quebec. To enter, go to: lh.com/us/india.
