WITH THE LAUNCH OF RIM’S REDESIGNED BB10 OPERATING SYSTEM, AFP TODAY RELEASED ‘AFP NEWS’ AN APP SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF BLACKBERRY’S NEW OS, AS WELL AS THE CAPABILITIES OF BLACKBERRY’S NEW SMARTPHONES.
Users can access news in real-time along with videos and pictures from AFP’s global network. ‘AFP News’ gives information aficionados a broad understanding of the day’s most important news from around the world covering topics from top-stories, international, US and Canadian news, to business, health, sports and much more. The app also features ‘The day in photos’ a visual tour of the most striking images from around the world captured by AFP’s award winning photographers.
