Bengaluru, April 22, 2016: PMI Bangalore India Chapter, largest chapter of Project Management Institute (PMI) in India organized its first Project Management Symposium for Engineering and Construction industry. PMI is the world’s leading not-for-profit professional membership association for the project management profession. The event was held at The Leela Palace, Bengaluru and inaugurated by chief guest, Mr. Sudhir Chandra, adviser to RITES Ltd., for Nagpur Metro Rail Project.
The conference showcased renowned speakers from engineering and construction domains sharing their insights and experiences on emerging trends and how project management can help get the best out of E&C projects. Taking this into consideration, the conference was organized to highlight the pressing need for advancing the knowledge, skills and competency among the project management professionals in the construction industry.
