Also, to train students in myriad skills viz. making panel paintings on canvas fabric, photo-frames using glass color and M.Seal, Shilpkar paining on cardboard, Tie and Dye prints using acrylic paint and brushes.
Speaking on this occasion Ms. Tarundeep Gill, Principal, ATDC Centre Faridabad said “There is nothing quite fulfilling than creating something with your own hands. Activities like these help to develop interest of students in extra-curricular work and build entrepreneurial motive among them. When students are encouraged to express themselves and take risks in creating art, they develop a sense of innovation that will be important in their adult lives.”
Ms Meeta Rampal, Expert Teacher, Pidilite said, “I got associated with ATDC in 2014 for a workshop. It has always been a good experience to teach the students various techniques of paining on fabric and non- fabric articles for creating new things. Children need to know more about the world than just what they can learn through text and numbers. Art education teaches students how to interpret, criticize, and use visual information, and how to make choices based on it. I hope to visit ATDC again for the new batch of students.”
“The workshop was very interesting wherein I learned new skills and it’s really satisfactory to have known so many artistic skills that are used for making presentable things. Such workshops should be conducted more frequently so that people can connect with such initiatives in masses.” said Neha Chaudhary Student ATDC
