Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) is advising of 48 hour rolling strikes from 06:00 local time on 26 May by the Piraeus and Thessaloniki’s Dockworker Unions in Greece.
Services to be affected by the strike action include porters, stevedores, cranes, gantry cranes, forklifts and the shuttle bus service into the port.
The Piraeus and Thessaloniki Dockworker Unions are protesting against the Greek Government’s privatisation of Piraeus and Thessaloniki’s ports.
ISS Greece is working with its clients to minimise possible delays and will keep its clients updated.
