As part of its growth and expansion plans in Asia Pacific, Outotec today (May 2, 2013) announced the opening of its office in Jakarta, Indonesia. The new office was inaugurated by Mr Pertti Korhonen, CEO and President of Outotec, in the presence of customers, ministries and industry associations.
Indonesia has some of the world’s largest resources of gold, nickel and tin as well as significant resources of bauxite, copper and silver and also has a large potential in renewable energy. Indonesia has steadily developed into one of Asia’s major economies. Outotec is committed to helping Indonesia develop its world class resource industry in a sustainable way as it expands into downstream processing. The new office in Jakarta will focus on driving sales in the growing Indonesian market, supporting project implementation and providing services to Outotec’s customers.
