Weeks ahead of the official opening of Ambiente India 2015, the organisers give an inside view of the emerging themes in interior decoration and what one can expect at the Indian offspring of the globally most important consumer goods show.
Taking place this summer, from 25 – 27 June 2015 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, Ambiente India will feature a unique mix of arts and crafts by local companies, international brands as well as designer labels. With a unique blend of traditional art and contemporary products, exhibitors will present a truly creative canvas of choices in dining, living &giving segments.
Among them is Mirrornwood who is set to exhibit an eye-catching collection of Venetian mirror works that can beautifully merge in with modern designs. Bringing forward a fascinating and ancient art concept, Thanor Pottery will showcase a range of hand-made, hand-glazed stoneware ceramics. From theme-based and cuisine-based collections for chefs and connoisseurs to present their delicacies creatively to stunning object d’ art in the form of vases, planters, lamps, tiles, vanity bowls and chandeliers for the lifestyle segment, the company will cover the world of ceramic design at their booth at Ambiente India.
Capturing the growing appeal of handcrafted textiles, Welspun – one of the world’s largest home textile manufacturers will be showcasing their one-of-a-kind handcrafted textiles under the brand Spun. Spun believes in protecting and preserving the environment and will use waste fabric in an innovative way to create a collection of contemporary, attractive and sustainable furnishings. Another interesting aspect of this brand is the involvement of women from various conservative societies. By empowering these women, Spun hopes to encourage them to showcase their skills while Ambiente India aims to bring this talent in front of the interior designers, architects, project planners and retailers to help them achieve financial independence.
