Baluchi, the pan Indian restaurant at The Lalit New Delhi launches a new menu

lalitNew Delhi, October 9, 2014: Baluchi, the signature Pan Indian restaurant of The Lalit, serving culinary gems from undivided India has been known for its authentic Indian curries and meats.

 

Taking the gastronomic experience to next level, the restaurant has launched a new menu using the finest ingredients and freshest produce. The carefully crafted menu by Chef Satyabir Singh Tyagi has culinary gems from the sub-continent and recipes from the royal kitchens which have been passed over for generations. Some of the signature dishes that are a must try are Anari Dahi Gujiya, Kakori Kebab, Gucchi (mushroom) ki Galaouti, Dal Baluchi, Paan Ki Briyani,  Gatta Curry, to name a few.

 

The new menu also experiments with new world vegetables like Shatawar (Asparagus) and Artichoke while keeping intact Indian flavours. Guests have a lot of healthy options to choose from like Subz ki Seekh, Sprouts Salad, Appam, Curd Rice, Tandoori Broccoli and Samudri Jhinga.  The new menu also gives one option to choose their choice of flour and oil.

 

The dishes have been carefully paired with wine by our French Sommelier Charles Donnadieu.

 

A special attraction of the restaurant is the ‘Naanery’, the bread bar serving Hindustani breads prepared in an iron tandoor. The breads are served with an assortment of chutneys and paired with wine, from Baluchi’s extensive wine cellar.

 

Besides a-la-carte menu, one can also savour Baluchi Express Thali which comes in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
