There are quite a few heritage driven cultural events lined up in Nov, it will be our pleasure if you can attend it with friends, colleagues and family.
CamEra – Public Place Photography got over, over 70,000 people appreciated photographs taken by 100 young photographers of Kolkata on Kolkata’s heritage and lifestyle. Now the second phase is on Heritage of Bengal, by 36 photographers, to be exhibited at EZCC, Maya Art Space, Oxford Book Store, Gallery Gold & Weavers’ Studio on Nov 8-14 and at Shrimati Art Gallery, Baitanik on Nov 8-14 & 15-21. Will be very nice, if you can attend the same at your convenience.
We are resuming Akhra@Baitanik from Nov 9 onwards, on Sat & Sun, 6:30-8 pm. Enclosing programme calendar and info for Nov 9-10 program.
Pot Maya 2013 – 4th edition of Patachitra festival at Pingla will be held on Nov 22-24, 2013. Pingla is only 2.5 hours away, ideal day trip from Kolkata. I request you to try to attend it, even it for a day, unique heritage driven community led village festival.
Nov 26, 2013 – we are organizing a peace music concert with PRSI Kolkata at Kalamandir, where Susmit Bose, Abhijit Bose, Upal Sengupta, Arjun Khyapa, and Dipannita Acharya will play music for peace. We request your kind presence with family and friends. Theme of the concert is “26/11 is past, Malala is our future”.
On Nov 28, we have invited Ainu communities of Japan to perform at EZCC auditorium. Please try to attend, its unique dance and I am sure you will enjoy it.
