India’s popular brand name in hospitality and cycling circuits- Ciclo Café started with a vision to bring together members of the cycling community, increase awareness about cycling and foster cycling excellence in the community. Keeping up to their promise of having cyclists from our country reach international levels, Ciclo Café and Ciclo Team Racing is now launching ‘Ciclo Academy’. Ciclo Academy desires to go #BeyondNationalChampions and raise the bar of what we can achieve in the sport of cycling globally, this will offer a platform to elevate amateur and professional cyclists in India and expose them to the very different world of international cycling. The 1st edition of Ciclo Academy will be a 3-day cycling training boot camp, starting from 18th of May 2017 in Nandi Hills, where riders will be coached by multiple time National champions– Naveen John and Arvind Panwar.
Ashish R Thadani (CEO, TI Absolute Concepts) commenting on opening the registrations said, “Ciclo as a brand was launched with a vision to bring together members of the cycling community. At Ciclo each one is inspired to go beyond limits and build a stronger community for cyclist in India. Ciclo Academy is our effort to nurture young talent and expose them to cycling at an international level. Becoming a professional cyclist requires not just talent and an extraordinary amount of hard work on the part of the cyclist, but also requires a support system that empowers the cyclist with the best equipment, knowledge, coaching, training and racing opportunities”.

.15+ year old rider 2.In case of parent, he/she must be an active cyclist 3.a coach to a young rider 4.or an elite/amateur racer looking at gaining a competitive edge in racing at community/state/national-level
ELIGIBILITY FOR SCHOLARSHIP* 1. Below 21 years of age 2. Already participated in national/ state/ community level races and shown tremendous performance improvement 3. Should be willing to travel on his/her own and attend the training camp for the entire duration if selected for the scholarship *The selection criteria for the scholarship program is solely decided by the members and management of Ciclo Team Racing and the candidates will be chosen based purely on the merit of their talent, performance and aspirations |
Ciclo Cafe along with 2GO will also be presenting scholarships (50% of the camp fees) for the Ciclo Academy training camp to deserving young cyclists to enable them to get a taste of world-class training and help them gain a competitive edge in racing at community/state/national-level in India.

The camp will include testing to speed among the best riders in the country, bike handling skills to improve your efficiency in a pack, bunch racing tactics, strength and mobility sessions, group interactions, and sharing as much accrued knowledge on getting to the top level in Indian cycling and beyond.” said, Naveen John.
Focusing the individual attention, Ciclo Academy will take in only 30 cyclists at the fist camp.

The Cost of the Camp is Rs.15000 for 3 days.
