The Institute of Cost Accountants of India organised a Discussion Meet on Risk Management in BFSI at the JN Bose Auditorium, CMA Bhavan, Sudder Street,Kolkata.
The Hon. Chief Guest, Sukamal Chandra Basu, former CMD, Bank of Maharashtra, gave the Welcome Address and set the tune for the evening’s deliberations.
Dr JD Sharma, Director, India Overseas Bank; AK Verma, GM Canara Bank Kolkata Circle; SK Sharma,DGM; KB Vijay Srinivas, GM, National Insurance Company ltd and Biplob Chakraborty, Retd GM RBI shared their valuable insights as distinguished panelists. The session was moderated by Prof Suman Mukherjea, renowned economist and Dean, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Institute of Management Sciences.
CMA Avijit Gioswami, CMA Amit Anand Apte, CMA Manas Kumar Thakur and CMA Dr DP Nandi represented the Institute, took part in the deliberations and explained how Cost Accountants can empower the segment with their skills in matters relating to the management of Risks.
