[UAE, May 28, 2014] – Drake & Scull International (DSI) PJSC, a regional market leader in the integrated design, engineering and construction disciplines of General Contracting, Engineering (MEP), Rail, Oil and Gas and Water and Waste-water treatment, has announced that it has been awarded the MEP contract worth AED 110 million for Plaza View, a mixed-use development in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The building comprises five levels of basement, ground and mezzanine floors, and 20 storeys for residential and commercial activities. The contract was awarded by Al Fara’a General Contracting (AFGCO), who is the main contractor for the project.
Under the terms of the agreement, DSI will provide its MEP services for the Plaza View project which will be completed by end of 2016. The scope of work includes complete engineering detailing, procuring, installing, testing, commissioning and handover of MEP Systems, including water supply works, drainage, fire fighting, central LPG, air conditioning and ventilation, and the complete electrical system on site.
