DURING FIRST HALF OF 2015, EUROMETAL MARKET MONITORING NOTED A +6 %, YEAR-ON-YEAR, INCREASE OF DELIVERIES BY EU FLAT SSC DISTRIBUTION

eurometal-logo-300x91In the first 6 months of 2015, EUROMETAL market monitoring registered a +6 %, year-on-year,
increase of deliveries by EU flat SSC distribution to European steel end users. All categories of
strip mill products have been on the rise during the considered period.
On the other hand, EU multi-product & proximity steel distribution did register a decrease
of -3 %, year-on-year, of deliveries during the first half of 2015.

Long steel product deliveries remained at same level as in 1.Semester of 2014, while deliveries
of flat steel products dropped behind the level of deliveries registered in same period of 2014.
Regarding steel inventories with steel distribution at End June 2015, it may be noted that stock
indicators have been easing and improving when compared with the inventory status of June
2014.

Expressed in Days of Sales, stocks with EU flat SSC at End June 2015 represented 59 days of
sales (68 Days at End June 2014) and stocks with EU multi-product & proximity steel
distribution at End June accounted to 70 days of sales, compared with 74 days of sales at End
June 2014.

Total volumes sold by steel distribution & trade to steel end users segments amount to about
70 million tons per year of finished steel products.
